Recently Kaige told us he wishes he could be both a boy and a girl because he likes playing princesses as much as ninjas and he doesn’t want to get made fun of. So we bought him a tutu and gave him a makeover. Meet the new and improved Kaige. If you have a problem with it please keep it to yourself and kindly stay out of his life. Which would be a shame because as you can see he’s freakin’ awesome! #letmebeme #mumblr #stopbullying

I mean, the World Cup was great and all, but the best match in town this weekend has clearly been Paul F. Tompkins’ daylong interaction with a I assume troll, because otherwise UM! guy who is super upset that anyone might question the high art value of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Troll or no, this is glorious.

Last night at Varietopia, PFT opened with a ten minute retelling of this and ended with a rant at the men in the audience that including better female characters is not going to ruin movies, that they would barely even notice. It was amazing.

This whole thing was amazing, but I laughed so hard at #leased. I WILL see a Paul F. Tompkins show at Largo someday!

PFT is a gift.
